Vice-Chancellor’s Mentoring Scheme 2023/24: Applications now open

May 30th, 2023

Following the success of this programme over the past five years, which has seen 45 mentees supported, the Vice-Chancellor is delighted to be launching her mentoring programme for 2023/24.

You can apply now by completing this form.

The deadline for applications is Friday 30 June 2023.

If you don’t think this programme is for you, it could well be that it is. If you don’t feel worthy enough for this programme, you are probably the person who should apply.

If you have aspirations or ambitions to take on a senior leadership role within (or outside) the university, but feel that factors related to one or more protected characteristic might be holding you back, apply now.

Applications are invited from level 6 and 7 staff with protected characteristics, such as BME, disabled and LGBT+ communities in both academic and professional service roles.

Consideration will also be given to staff who are under-represented in their professional field for reasons such as gender.

You can find out more about this scheme on the LMA Hub and on the VC’s web pages, or contact Cyrielle Mevel, Learning and Development Manager, for an informal conversation.
