Urgent message for library users

June 13th, 2019

On Thursday 13 June a number of emails were sent from University of Nottingham Libraries containing outdated information – please ignore these emails.

The system responsible for distributing Library emails has not been working since Saturday 1 June.

This problem has now been resolved. Unfortunately, the system has distributed the backlog of borrower summary emails that has built up since the malfunction.

As a result, if you borrow books from the library, you may have received two borrower summary emails today containing out of date information. Please ignore these – an up-to-date email will be sent to you on Monday 17 June.

Any fines incurred on books due to be returned between Friday 7 and Monday 19 June 2019 will be waived on account of the recent lack of Library emails.

If you’re unsure about the status of your loans, you can check your library account on NUsearch for an accurate picture of your current loans. If you do have any concerns, please contact the library helpline at library-helpline@nottingham.ac.uk or on 0115 951 6393.

We apologise sincerely for any inconvenience or concern caused.
