July 10th, 2018
The gas main along Beeston Lane on University Park is going to be renewed between July and November 2018. Access around the campus will be maintained during the works — however commuters are advised to allow extra travel time.
The gas works are being carried out by Cadent (formerly National Grid). The programme of work will commence on Monday 23 July.
Click here to view a map of the works. Work will usually be carried out between 8am and 4pm. Traffic will be managed locally with temporary lights or appropriate road signage.
The University will be working with Cadent to ensure that gas supply is maintained on campus throughout the duration of the works.
