The University of Nottingham Day Nursery has once again been awarded an ‘outstanding’ rating by Ofsted.
Following an inspection carried out in December 2015, Ofsted rated the Day Nursery as ‘outstanding’ in every area, including leadership and management, quality of teaching, personal development, behaviour and welfare, and outcomes for children. The Day Nursery was last inspected by Ofsted in 2011, when it again received an ‘outstanding’ rating.
The report singled out for praise enthusiastic staff, the range of techniques used to keep the children ‘highly engaged’, a ‘highly stimulating and exciting’ environment, and excellent relationships with both children and parents. Read the full report on the Ofsted website (under ‘latest reports’).
Sue Mellors, Childcare Services Manager, said: “Childcare Services staff work very hard, are very dedicated and committed to offering the best care and education possible for the children and this clearly shone through during the recent inspection. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff, carers and parents for their hard work and on-going support.”
