Staff should be aware that University buildings will be closed from Thursday 24 December and will re-open on Monday 4 January 2016.

Access to buildings over this period should normally be considered ‘out of hours working’. In response to requests for clarification on interpretation of the general policy for lone working and out of hours working over this period, supplementary guidance has been published following consideration by the Safety Committee. This is consistent with the local arrangements that are in place in many areas.
