This weekend, ahead of the annual Conservative Party conference, the Prime Minister Theresa May announced changes to tuition fees for 2018/19:

  • the maximum level of tuition fees for Home/EU undergraduates will be frozen at £9,250 for 2018/19;
  • the repayment threshold for post-2012 student loans will rise from £21,000 to £25,000.
