The Students’ Union has opened a new space for students in the Portland Building.
The Studio officially opened its doors on Tuesday 24 November, with Sir Andrew Witty, Chancellor of The University of Nottingham, cutting the ribbon. Previously known as The Den, the Students’ Union launched the revamped area with two performances in Studio Live!, showcasing the potential of the space for society events, live music, dance and more.
The Studio is a flexible space dedicated to students, and promises to be an area to meet others, explore interests has several areas and inspire potential. It has several spaces which can be booked by students at the SU reception, including:
