Take part in a psychology study

Is English your first language? Would you like to take part in scientific research?

This study from a student in the School of Psychology consists of a series of simple computer-based language tasks while your electrical brain activity is recorded through electroencephalography (EEG). The session takes around one and a half hours.

By taking part you will be offered the opportunity to enter into a prize draw.

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Native speaker of British English
  • Not fluent in another language
  • Right-handed
  • Between 18-35 years old
