The evening will be introduced by Dr Kathryn Almack, who will speak about her research exploring end of life experiences and care needs in the lives of older LGBT people; a UK-based project funded by Marie Curie Cancer Care. This will be followed by a screening of Gen Silent, a critically-acclaimed US documentary, which explores real-life issues facing older LGBT people in later life and towards the end of life.
