Sustainability Action Week 2022: get involved

January 10th, 2022

Sustainability Action Week 2022 is taking place from Monday 28 February – Sunday 6 March. This week of activities and events will encourage staff, students and alumni to engage with environmental and social issues and take action for the climate.

The university’s Sustainability Team and the Students’ Union are again teaming up with Nottingham Trent University and Students’ Union along with Nottingham City Council to host events and share advice and guidance for sustainable living.

Get involved

Staff, students and alumni are invited to take part, organise events or contribute to activities during the week. We’re keen to hear from a range of research, work and interest areas. Options include hosting talks and workshops, writing blogs and social media takeovers.

If you’re interested in hosting an event or contributing to the week, please email sustainability@nottingham.ac.uk by Friday 29 January, with information about your idea, such as:

  • Event title and description
  • Your school, department, research area
  • Proposed date and time for your event
  • How your event will be delivered
  • Target audience

Find out more

More details about the week will be shared soon or you can sign up to our Sustainable Nottingham newsletter to keep up to date with all sustainable goings on at the university.
