Support our first ever Nottingham Ambition Giving Day

June 13th, 2022

Tomorrow – exactly 100 years since the Trent Building foundation stone was laid, a moment of hope and ambition for the future – we’re launching our first ever Nottingham Ambition Giving Day and would love you to spread the word, or even donate.

Starting at 8am tomorrow (14 June), running for 36 hours, the Campaign and Alumni Relations Office (with support from numerous colleagues) is raising funds to create scholarships for disadvantaged students; support medical research to improve people’s lives; deliver student-led mental health projects; and student-run Cascade projects that truly make a difference to the world around us.

We’ve enlisted the support of some of our most recognisable faces too, including a specially commissioned poem from Nottingham’s first poet laureate Georgina Wilding and videos from Dr Tedros and Professor Sir Jonathan Van-Tam.

Please share the link to the website, our videos and help spread the word about the giving day – help us build on our foundations and make a significant impact on our university’s future.
