New Student Service Centres opened across our UK campuses on Monday 1 August, marking the official launch of the University’s new Student Services department and expanded External Relations team.
The centres will be a one-stop-shop for student administration, providing support and guidance on all student journey processes – from registration and visa application to handing in coursework, accessing timetables and results, and paying fees.
An overview of the services available at the centres and online is listed on the new Student Services website – www.nottingham.ac.uk/studentservices, which was also launched on Monday 1 August. This A-Z directory will give an overview of the services available, signposting more detailed information and linking to systems where students can carry out transactions themselves – eg accessing their new personalised timetables, registering or paying fees. Students can also fill in a new online enquiry form if they can’t find the information they’re looking for.

Student Services staff will be located across the Student Service Centres and Schools, where they will also support academic processes, such as support for programmes, placements, etc.
Each School has been assigned a lead from the Student Services team to manage any queries or problems Schools might have as colleagues adapt to working with the new Student Services department. The full list of Relationship Managers and the Schools they work with is available on Workspace.
