Social media policy for staff

September 28th, 2016

A new video podcast, to accompany the University’s social media policy, has been distributed to all staff.

The University advocates the positive use of social media, but its misuse can have serious repercussions of which we must all be aware. A 10-minute video podcast has therefore been produced to promote a common understanding of the responsible and beneficial use of social media in matters which affect the University, its staff or its students.

All staff received an email from the Registrar on Tuesday 4 October with a link to the log-in screen and the podcast. A sub-titled version and a transcript are available.
