Recruiting tomorrow’s research leaders

August 4th, 2017

Recruitment to the Nottingham Research Fellowships (NRF) and Anne McLaren Fellowships (AMF) 2018 is now open.

Nottingham Research Fellowships (NRF) and Anne McLaren Fellowships (AMF) target outstanding early career researchers across the University.

We recognise the value and contribution of early career researchers in delivering our ambitious research vision, and are committed to recruiting 100 Nottingham and Anne McLaren Research Fellows by the end of 2020. This call forms the first stage of this process.

The aim of the fellowships is to attract and retain exceptional early career researchers to deliver world-leading research. These independent research fellows will be the next generation of outstanding research leaders, and enable a step change in research performance.

Our fellowships include:

  • Three years’ salary costs (current offers at R&T bottom level 5)
  • Up to £25k per annum research expenses
  • Up to £5k per annum taxable childcare costs
  • Link to permanent academic appointment (subject to performance and the right to work in the UK)

The Anne McLaren Fellowship is targeted at women in STEM subjects, and the Nottingham Research Fellowship is available across all participating schools.
