Participants required for driving simulator study – earn £20 voucher

Participants will be asked to undertake two drives, each lasting approximately 30 minutes.

During one of the drives, you will be able to interact with a new prototype voice-activated driver support system in the car. All testing will take place during the afternoons of week commencing 13 June 2016.

It is important that you have had a normal lunch and have not consumed caffeine (e.g. tea, coffee, energy drinks) during the 2 hours prior to taking part. You should also not have participated in a similar driving simulator study during the last 6 months.

Volunteers should:

  • Have a normal lunch and have NOT consumed caffeine (e.g. tea, coffee, energy drinks) during the 2 hours prior to taking part
  • Have held a valid UK or EU driving licence for 3 years or longer
  • Own/lease a car
  • NOT suffer from:
    • Severe motion sickness
    • Epilepsy
    • Migraines
    • Dizziness
    • Sleep disorders
    • Blurred vision
  • NOT be pregnant
  • Have normal or corrected vision
  • Have NOT participated in a similar driving simulator study during the last 6 months.

The study will take approximately 2 hours and you will be given a £20 shopping voucher for your time.
