The Nanoscale and Microscale Research Centre (NMRC) will be officially launched on Wednesday 20^th April. The Centre will act as a cross-faculty hub hosting a unique suite of 20 major instruments, including 14 electron microscopes, and will provide expertise for world-class research across the engineering, physical and life sciences.

To celebrate the opening of the Centre, a symposium on ‘low dimensional materials’ will be held in the School of Chemistry.
