Nominations for Lord Dearing Awards 2022 live

December 6th, 2021

Nominations for the annual Lord Dearing Awards are now live and can be submitted.

Running since 1999, the Lord Dearing Awards recognise excellence in teaching and learning across the university and celebrate outstanding achievements.

Awards can be for individual members of staff or teams with direct links to teaching and learning across all job families.

The scheme was supported personally by Ronald Dearing, Lord Dearing the fifth Chancellor of The University of Nottingham, and has seen more than 125 members of staff and 40 teams receive an award for high quality teaching and the support of learning since 2018.

Nominations from staff and students are considered in spring with winners picking up their awards in summer 2022.
