New health and safety training courses available online

The university is now offering a selection of new Health and Safety training courses online through eLearning packages.

These are Fire Safety training and Health and Safety Induction.

The Fire Safety Training must be completed by all staff, Postgraduate Researchers and associates when starting at the university, and must be refreshed once every three years.

The Health and Safety Induction training must also be completed by all staff, Postgraduate Researchers and associates when starting at the university.

The Health and Safety Department has also provided a summary of key health and safety information for colleagues who are returning to campus for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

Your manager and Health and Safety Coordinator will be able to support you and any questions you have can be emailed to the Health and Safety Team.

Further eLearning courses are in development by the Health and Safety Department and will be publicised shortly.
