As you may be aware, Microsoft have been promoting their next significant update to Teams which is Teams version 2.0. 

Earlier this year, we made Microsoft Teams 2.0 available as an update to you. On Monday 4 March 2024, we will be changing our IT policy to make Teams 2.0 the default. 

You will be able to switch back to Classic Teams, up until Sunday 31 March 2024. Please note that from 31 March 2024, Microsoft will start to upgrade all Teams installations to Teams 2.0 and you will not be able to switch to Classic Teams after that date.

This update will affect all computers, smartphones, and web browsers that use the Teams app.
