Library opening times

Over the Easter break and the ensuing study and exam periods, The University of Nottingham libraries will be operating adjusted opening hours. Details of these can be found below.

All libraries will be closed from Friday 14 April until Monday 17 April inclusive. The libraries will then re-open at 9am on Tuesday 18 April, at which point they will run a 9am-5pm service. This applies to all libraries with the exception of the following:

  • James-Cameron Gifford Library, which will run a 24/7 service from Tuesday 18 April until Friday 23 June
  • Denis Arnold Music Library, which re-opens on Wednesday 19 April running a 9.30am-4.30pm service (closed 12.30-1.30 for lunch)
  • Manuscripts and Special Collections, which re-opens on Wednesday 19 April running a 9am-6pm service

24/7 opening dates

The following libraries will be running a 24/7 service during the study and exam periods, as follows:

  • Hallward Library: Monday 24 April – Friday 9 June
  • George Green Library: Monday 24 April – Friday 9 June
  • Business Library: Monday 24 April – Friday 9 June
  • Djanogly Learning Resource Centre: Monday 24 April – Friday 9 June
  • Greenfield Medical Library: Monday 24 April – Friday 23 June
  • James Cameron-Gifford Library: Tuesday 18 April – Friday 23 June
