Staff, students and friends of the university are teaming up to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon on Sunday 24 September, to raise funds for our very own Nottingham Breast Cancer Research Centre (NBCRC).

To join the team just follow these 3 steps:

1. Sign up for the event through the Robin Hood Half Marathon Registration Page

2. Set up your fundraising page – team members are invited to raise at least £100. Join Team UoN by going to the team page on Just Giving.

3. To receive your NBCRC running vest, contact supportus@nottingham.ac.uk – stating what size you would like, and a contact address to send it to.

1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. 

All funds raised by Team UoN will support our dedicated researchers to help save and transform women’s lives by developing a blood test to detect breast cancer earlier, stopping cancer spreading around the body, and developing effective targeted treatments.
