International Women’s Day 2018: Nottingham presses for progress!

The University of Nottingham is proud to be working in partnership with Nottingham Trent University to provide a celebratory event in recognition of International Women’s Day 2018.

On Thursday 8 March, our university communities will join forces to host a motivating and inspirational event celebrating the achievements of women in Nottingham.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Nora Senior: Executive Chair, UK Regional/Ireland, Weber Shandwick
  • Kirsty Clode: Chair for Women into Manufacturing (WiME)
  • Alan Holey: President, University of Nottingham Students’ Union
  • Martha Longdon: President, Nottingham Trent University Students’ Union.
  • Other speakers to be confirmed

Professor Shearer West, President and Vice-Chancellor, University of Nottingham, will be joining us for the occasion, which will take place in the East Midlands Conference Centre.
