Industrial action at the university

The University and College Union (UCU) has announced that industrial action will take place at 68 universities, including the University of Nottingham during late March 2022.

Strike action will take place for five days across w/c 28 March, with continuing action short of a strike, where staff work to contract and do not undertake voluntary activity.

The university recognises that any period of industrial action will be challenging, appreciates that colleagues do not undertake industrial action lightly and respects their right to participate. We also recognise that students will be concerned about the potential impact of industrial action on their studies and the university will work to minimise this.
