Have your say – global engagement

January 22nd, 2024

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jane Norman, is leading a review of the university’s Global Engagement.

This review is aimed at ensuring our global activity is strategically aligned, measured, and appropriately resourced across the university.

Several stakeholders have already been identified and consulted but we want to ensure that everyone is given the opportunity to contribute.

Open surgeries are taking place during the week commencing Monday 26 February 2024. Colleagues who have not yet been consulted on the review are encouraged to come along and share their thoughts and ideas.

In-person sessions will be held on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 February. Virtual sessions will be held on Monday 26 February, Thursday 29 February and Friday 1 March 2024.

 Staff are invited to discuss:

  • what’s working well
  • what’s challenging
  • what opportunities you recognise to explore / pursue
  • recommendations they may want to make
  • concerns you would like to raise

Two different types of sessions are available. Individuals can take part in a 30-min 1-to-1, or a team can attend a 45-min session and contribute together.

Please contact Strategic Delivery Lead for Global Engagement, Suzie Green, to discuss and set up a session for you or your team.
