Global Challenges Collaboration Fund

January 20th, 2020

The Research and Innovation team have launched a new internal funding scheme aimed at academics seeking to develop research collaborations with partners based in Low to Middle Income countries.

The Global Challenges Collaboration Fund will cover transport and accommodation costs (up to £5,000) for UoN academics to visit potential co-investigators in-country to develop collaborative research projects. Collaborations must be Official Development Assistance (ODA) compliant with a view to co-developing longer term collaborations and funding. More information on ODA compliance can be found here.

The GCCF is currently open for applications. Submissions are welcomed until Tuesday 30 June 2020.  Due to funder restrictions all awards must be spent by Friday 31 July 2020.

More information about the fund and links to application forms can be found on the Research Development and Funding Sharepoint site.
