Spain and Latin America: Transatlantic Crossings is a Nottingham Open Online Course (NOOC).

Whether you are an expert Spanish speaker or a beginner and you are interested in knowing more about the social, historical and political dimensions that link Spain and Latin America, this is an informative and entertaining flexible online course which provides a 4-week introduction to the culture and language of the Spanish-speaking transatlantic world.

You will be able to choose the level of language proficiency that best suits you while engaging in conversations about the Conquest, Independence as well as Contemporary Spain and Latin America.

This free course for University students and staff starts on Monday 27 February and can be accessed through Moodle.
