Emma Whitt appointed as Deputy University Senior Tutor

The university is pleased to announce the appointment of Emma Whitt as Deputy University Senior Tutor.

Emma brings a wealth of experience from her ten years as a Senior Tutor in Psychology and her work as Interim Deputy University Senior Tutor.

Well known for her dedication to student welfare, she actively participates in numerous university initiatives, including Teach Fest, Lord Dearing, UKAT, and the Nottingham Recognition Scheme.

Emma’s extensive experience and leadership are invaluable, particularly in her involvement with the pilot tutoring programme.

Andy Fisher, the University Senior Tutor, siad, “Emma Whitt’s appointment as Deputy University Senior Tutor underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of support for our students.

Her extensive experience and her proven ability to drive positive change make her the ideal candidate for this crucial role.”

Speaking about her appointment, Emma said: “I am delighted to be appointed as Deputy University Senior Tutor.

I look forward to collaborating with colleagues across the university on student support and development, and to furthering my understanding in this area.

I am always happy to discuss tutoring and student support.”
