Do you know which suppliers to use?

June 2nd, 2021

We’ve received feedback from some suppliers that we aren’t always approaching the right suppliers for the right services. To help everyone to know how to procure goods and services in the right way, the Procurement SharePoint is a resource which includes:

  • A supplier search to help you find the right supplier for what you need
  • Details of existing contracts and agreements for larger areas of spend to include Amazon business, print services and design services
  • Guidance on how to buy so that you know the procurement routes for different levels of spend

You can also see details of upcoming procurement events which cover the topics and resources in more depth and give the opportunity to ask any questions you may have in this area.

Thanks for taking time to familiarise yourself with this information and please contact procurement@nottingham.ac.uk with any queries or feedback.

Hi
I have tried to use the excel form linked from
https://uniofnottm.sharepoint.com/sites/ProcurementSharepointSite/SitePages/The-University-of-Nottingham's-Suppliers.aspx

https://uniofnottm.sharepoint.com/:x:/s/ProcurementSharepointSite/ETTpb2-f7bdKtITVUxJxCdcBinVry6C9xXLkhlL9FTdNJQ?e=fhFPi0

However, I cannot enter a code – it is stuck on fha.

Think the permissions on the form do not allow changes

Hi Leigh. Along the top taskbar of the Excel file once you open it up, there should be a button that says “Open in Desktop App”. If you click that, you can access the full interactive spreadsheet and use the search function by inputting a code. Thanks, hope that helps.
