September 6th, 2022
As part of the university’s ongoing commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, we are inviting applications for the celebration of Disability Recognition Month, which will take place from 18 November – 18 December 2022.
The national theme for this year is Disability, Health and Wellbeing, so we would encourage colleagues to think about how they might align events with this theme.
Funding will be awarded to host local events or activities to a maximum of £200.
Applications will be assessed according to the extent to which the aims of the proposed activity or event align with the recognition month theme, and how wide the impact would be.
For guidance on how to run EDI events, please see our EDI events toolkit.
For funding applications, please complete the form using the link below by Monday 3 October 2022 at 12 noon.
Submit a Local Funding Application here.
For any queries, please contact the EDI Co-ordinators.
