Nottinghamshire’s joint Economic Prosperity Committee has agreed to recruit a small programme team to support the ambition of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire councils to work closely together on a series of projects to tackle critical issues, with the core aim of changing things for the better for local people.
Councils have committed to closer collaboration, to bring much needed investment into our area and capitalise on the opportunities presented by the awaited publication of the government’s Levelling Up White Paper.
Namely, for powers currently controlled by central government to be devolved to our local area.
Expressions of interest are sought from employees of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Local Authorities and their partners for the below 12-month fixed term roles.
