Changes to hopper bus services for the forthcoming session

September 13th, 2022

We are getting ready to welcome both new and returning students and staff back to the university, ready for the new academic year.

Working with our partner Arriva we are gearing up to increase our bus services. Below is an overview of changes.

On Monday 19 September:

The 901 service between University Park and Sutton Bonington will operate to a Sunday service against the current non-term timetable below.

All other services will be suspended on this day.

From Tuesday 20 September:

901 | University Park to Sutton Bonington & Kegworth
Route 901 will now go between University Park, NTU Clifton, Clifton Park and Ride, Sutton Bonington campus and Kegworth as one route. Some journeys may leave or arrive at different times from what they do currently, so please check the timetables here.

We will be running an all-year-round timetable on this service as opposed to the traditional term and non-term routes.

From Monday 26 September:

902 | University Park to Kings Meadow Campus
There are no changes to the timetable – everything is the same as last term.

903 | University Park to Jubilee Campus
There are no changes to the timetable – everything is the same as last term.

904 | University Park to Royal Derby Hospital
Buses will now arrive at University Park a little earlier than they do currently, with no other changes to the timetable.

If you’re new to the university or the Hopper bus, visit our dedicated Hopperbus page to find out more about travelling between our campuses.
