Celebrating our European staff – event and call for case studies

January 14th, 2019

On Tuesday 19 March 2019 the University will be holding an evening event to celebrate the contribution to Nottingham made by our European staff.

Hosted by the Vice-Chancellor and Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Exchange, the evening will also serve as a forum for the development of ideas as to how the University should increase and expand its engagement with Europe, beyond Brexit.

A project group with representation from across the University is working with External Relations on the development of the event.

They are looking for suggestions (or volunteers) of European colleagues who might be willing to put themselves forward as a case study for a video to be shown at the event itself, as well as other formats to used more widely afterwards. Those taking part would just be asked to simply tell their story – about their role at the University – and in Nottingham.

If you are interested in taking part, or if you would like to suggest someone the project group should approach, please email the Director of Global and Political Affairs, Alex Miles: alex.miles@nottingham.ac.uk.

Details about the event and invitations to register will be sent out in the coming weeks.
