Car Benefit Scheme now live

April 7th, 2021

The Car Benefit scheme, as announced in February 2021, is live and now available for university staff to use.

The Car Benefit Scheme is a salary sacrifice scheme whereby staff can exchange salary in return for the use (lease) of a brand new car.

Through the scheme, staff have access to a huge range of cars under 124g/km Co2 emissions; that come complete with motor insurance, servicing, road tax, maintenance, replacement tyres and RAC breakdown cover, for a fixed monthly amount.

If you are wondering how the scheme works, Tusker are holding two short webinars to help you find out more. Click the links below to join the webinars at the following times:

Plus if you create an account with Tusker by Sunday 30 May, you could be in with a chance of winning a £150 Amazon Voucher.

If you would like to view the cars available simply visit the Employee Hub or visit www.tuskercars.com with company code UNOT and your work email address.

Please review the Employee Hub for the full eligibility criteria which includes a minimum salary of £19,000 to ensure that the monthly amount does not take your salary below the National Living Wage.

The scheme should be considered as a long-term commitment and any staff entering into the scheme should ensure they have read and understood all the terms and conditions prior to signing the agreement.

Hi Louise. We’re looking into this, and unfortunately, Microsoft Teams’ event meeting function is down at the moment, with no timeframe as to when it will be back up. We will be publishing a pre-recorded link to the webinar soon, or you can wait until next week’s live webinar. Thanks, hope that helps.
