The Education Administration Continuous Improvement Team (EACIT) focus on reducing the complexity of university systems and processes where Campus Solutions is at the heart of the student journey, making them as simple and as streamlined as possible. If you haven’t used Campus Solutions for a long time, it now includes many new features – which we continue to build on. We encourage you to log in and take a look.
Campus Solutions is used by Professional Services, academics and students as the primary source of student information on all our campuses. Sometimes referred to as ‘NottinghamHub’, this resource is widely used for many tasks, such as:
Learn about some recent changes to Campus Solutions
The Academic WorkCentre (AWC) is the academic staff view of NottinghamHub. We have been speaking to academics across all UK faculties to better understand what they need from the AWC. We will be using these insights to develop future improvements.
Through these conversations, we learned that many academics are not aware of the wide range of information they can access, and tasks they can perform, through the AWC. We have made some tweaks to the layout and terminology of the Student Summary Screen to help academics find what they need. Frequent users may not notice a difference, but we often find that the smallest improvements can have a big impact.
Watch the videos below for a walk-through demonstration of the updated Student Summary Screen. We really do encourage you to watch these to see just how much you can get out of the AWC.

A wide range of training materials are available for Campus Solutions users.
Please note that these resources will be moving from Workspace to SharePoint in the coming months. We will be back in touch with more information.
Any colleague in the university can suggest an improvement to student administration systems and processes. If you have a suggestion for an improvement, please fill in our form and we will get back to you.
