Enrolment for the Annual Leave Purchase Scheme is due to open on Monday 28 August 2023 and close on Monday 25 September 2023.

Eligible staff* will be able to purchase up to 1 week of additional holiday (pro-rata for part time staff) for the coming holiday year.

Any annual leave purchased through the scheme needs to be booked in line with the normal holiday booking processes and staff are encouraged to discuss plans with their manager prior to enrolling.

As many will have leave planned during August, alongside planning for the new academic year, advanced notice of the application window has been provided to increase time to discuss any plans with your line manager.

*Please note, staff on fractional term time only contracts are not eligible to apply to this scheme as the nature of their role requires them to be present during term-time and, therefore, it would not be possible to agree additional leave.
