Agresso upgrade underway

An upgrade to the University finance system, Agresso, is now well underway as part of the Digital Futures programme.

A like for like upgrade to our Finance System, (Currently called Agresso, but will in future be called ‘Business World’), is now well underway and forms part of the Digital Futures programme of work. The project, sponsored by Sally Blackamore, commenced this September and a small Finance user group will soon perform the first round of internal testing.

Given that we will be leap-frogging a number of versions ahead, there will naturally be some inherent ‘out the box’ improvements to usability delivered. Wider benefits include a cleaner and more modern system in look and feel, as well as much improved web based functionality. ‘Business World’ will also become available to users via web channels and through ‘single sign on’. System configuration and testing will continue over the next few months, with the upgrade with Go-Live scheduled for mid-March 2019.
