Participants wanted for a study which looks into the stories of members of the Latin-American community through photography.
On Wednesday 31 August from 2 – 4pm at Nottingham Lakeside Arts, Wallner Gallery, you can visit an exhibition called Uncovering the Invisible. This exhibition consists of 22 portraits which focus on the diversity of backgrounds and life-stories of Latin-American people living in the UK.
These portraits incorporate artcode technology which allows you to point your smart phone or tablet at an image and unlock hidden digital content, so that you may hear the voices of the Latin-American men, women and children who feature in the photographs.
When taking part in this workshop you will be asked to record your own thoughts and feedback.
By participating in the study you will receive a £5 voucher for the Pavilion Café.
Further instructions and information on the study will be provided upon your arrival.
All are welcome, but places are limited so please email psxsaal@nottingham.ac.uk to reserve your spot.
