Following an incident at the Highfields Park Boating Lake on Monday 9 May, we would like to remind all students that it is prohibited to swim in the lake under any circumstances.
Colwick Park Lifeguards operate the lake and have warned that entering the water poses a serious danger to individuals due to the lake’s levels of silt, the water temperature and the risk posed to swimmers by other objects deposited in the lake.
