Last chance to see Elisabeth Frink exhibition

February 22nd, 2016

It’s your last chance to see Nottingham Lakeside Arts’ Elisabeth Frink: the Presence of Sculpture exhibition, which closes Sunday 28 February.

Focusing on Frink’s commissioned works, this exhibition gives Lakeside visitors an opportunity to view a broad selection of her work including birds, male figures and heads. There’s also the chance to visit an evocation of Frink’s final studio at Woolland in Dorset. Original plasters, photographs, film, letters and papers are shown alongside sculptures cast in bronze, drawings and original prints.

Find out more on the Nottingham Lakeside Arts website.

#GetYourFrinkOn

You can also take part in the #GetYourFrinkOn selfie competition. Think you can beat Jeremy Corbyn’s selfie with the Walking Madonna?  Take a selfie with your favourite Frink sculpture and share on social media using #GetYourFrinkOn – the person with the most shares wins a £10 voucher.

There are just a couple of rules:

  • No flash photography in the gallery
  • ‘Riace I’ is under strict copyright, so you can’t take a selfie with him. Just ask Gallery staff to point him out

Nottingham Lakeside Arts will announce the winner on Monday 29 February. Keep up to date with Nottingham Lakeside Arts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
