The Graduate School’s annual Research Showcase gives University of Nottingham postgraduate students and staff the chance to share their research with new audiences and tell the world about their work.

What happens at the showcase?

Fifty researchers will be selected to present their posters at this high profile event. If selected, you will spend the day talking to people about your work in a way that they can understand. The showcase is open to all, including members of the public. Non-academic judges from the University, guests from external organisations and members of the public will choose the winners.

Why enter?

Entering the showcase will give you the chance to:

  • gain confidence in communicating your research
  • develop effective communication and presentation skills
  • network with other researchers and build your profile
  • win one of six awards – the top prize is £200

Eligibility

Entries are invited from postgraduate research students (MRES, Mphil, Doctoral students) and level 4 research-only staff.
