Planning for The David Ross Sports Village rejected

The University’s plans to build a new £40m sports centre have been brought to a halt after a planning application was rejected by Nottingham City Council.

The Registrar, Dr Paul Greatrix expressed disappointment in the decision given the University’s reputation for environmental stewardship, and explained that plans had followed recommendations and advice from the professional Council Officers.
