The university’s Education Administration Continuous Improvement Team have added a new feature in Campus Solutions that enhances the Student Marks Report in the Academic WorkCentre so that it is now available in an excel XLS format.

Your feedback

We received feedback from academic colleagues that although the Marks Report is handy, it would be useful to have in an excel XLS format to be able to work with the data in a spreadsheet without having to source it from multiple sources or systems.

What we’ve done

We’ve done just that! You can now download the Marks Report as an excel XLS document, and you still have the option to download as a PDF too.

This will save time finding the data required, so you can do all your working out in one place.

Please note: These reports contain the latest real-time information from Campus Solutions – it is live. As assessment marks are entered and module marks are calculated in Campus Solutions, the marks shown in the reports will change (after you relaunch a report).

Please bear this in mind during any discussion with individual students, and do not discuss detailed marks unless you are sure that the marks have been approved by an Examination Board and reflect any outcomes of the Examination Board.

This can sometimes take several weeks depending upon the decision and any consequent need to gather further information.
