Nottingham’s entry for U21 Three Minute Thesis® competition: vote now

Diret Bitrus Tang’an, from the Faculty of Engineering took the top spot in this year’s Tri-Campus Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT ®) with his presentation that explains how microwave heating can be used to help clean petroleum contamination from the Niger delta.

Diret is currently representing the university in the global online Universitas 21 3MT ® competition and has been given a global platform for his research through the People’s Choice Award.
