A new Student Hub has launched on Sutton Bonington campus to give students a place to share queries, concerns or just to talk.
The new hub – named The Burrow – is based in room A10 of The Barn on Sutton Bonington and will be open from Monday to Friday, between 8.30am – 7pm.
The Burrow’s name was voted for by students and there was a great deal of collaboration with student ambassadors to come up with the design, look and feel of the space.
Labelled as Sutton Bonington’s ‘one-stop-shop’ for student queries, The Burrow is designed to be open, engaging and friendly to encourage students to use the space for activity and interaction.
Staff will be on hand to offer guidance and information with things such as relevant events and activities, student groups, wellbeing services, career advice, financial services, accommodation support and academic help.
There will also be meeting rooms and spaces for student drop-ins available which can be booked by services that support students on campus.
No meeting requests or appointments are necessary, students can drop into the hub as and when they please.
Find more information on The Burrow’s Sharepoint Site or for any questions or queries, please contact the Student Hub team.
