Vice-Chancellor’s Mentoring Scheme 2022/23: Applications now open

June 15th, 2022

Following the success of this programme over the past four years, which has seen 36 mentees supported, the Vice-Chancellor is delighted to be launching her mentoring programme for 2022/23.

You can apply now by completing this form.

The deadline for applications is Monday 11 July 2022.

Applications are invited from level 6 and 7 staff with protected characteristics, such as BME, disabled and LGBT+ communities in both academic and professional service roles. Consideration will also be given to staff who are under-represented in their professional field for reasons such as gender.

If you have aspirations or ambitions to take on a senior leadership role within (or outside) the university, but feel that factors related to one or more protected characteristic might be holding you back, apply now.

You can find out more about this scheme on the LMA Hub and on the VC’s web pages, or contact Helen McNamara, Director of Organisation and People Development, for an informal conversation.
