Government restrictions regarding face coverings have recently changed. However, as a university community we must remain vigilant to ensure that our infection and transmission rates continue to remain low.
We strongly encourage all members of our university community to continue to wear a face covering in all indoor spaces, unless exempt, and this includes: corridors and communal spaces; teaching settings, including lecture halls, seminar rooms, laboratories and workshops; libraries and shared offices to protect everyone, especially those who are vulnerable.
Staff around the university can request disposable medical face masks and FFP2 masks from the University Testing Service.
We have also updated the promotional materials on our Covid resources SharePoint site which include A3/A4 posters and landscape versions for use on digital screens.
We’re also asking colleagues to replace the current ‘face coverings are mandatory’ materials in their department with the new assets provided. There are a range of options, including:
