Start of session – hopper bus services

September 9th, 2021

To support Welcome and the phased return to campus we will return to operating a full fleet of hopper buses, returning to pre-pandemic services.

  • 901 – University Park – Sutton Bonington
  • 902 – University Park – King’s Meadow Campus
  • 903 – University park – Jubilee Campus
  • 904 – University Park – Royal Derby Hospital Campus

Detail on timetables will shortly be live on our Hopper bus website.

Connectivity to City hospital will continue to be provided by staff and students using the medi-link services, as well as a dedicated East Drive to City hospital Medi-Link service operating at 8:15 am Monday to Friday.

In line with university guidance and public transport operators, we will remove social distancing measure on the buses and the wearing of face coverings will no longer be mandatory. We encourage passengers to wear a face covering whilst travelling on our services and consider other users of the services.

We will continue to review service provision in conjunction with faculties and the operator.
