Review of the Effectiveness of Senate

A new survey hoping to gather the views of staff members at the university about the effectiveness of Senate has launched.

Senate is the university’s academic authority, responsible for directing and regulating teaching and examinations and for promoting research.

It is currently undergoing a review of how effective it is as a body and we are keen to understand how much you know about its role, responsibilities and activities.

A short survey has been designed which we would be grateful if you could complete.  It should take you no more than 10 minutes to complete.

The survey is hosted externally and your participation and answers will remain anonymous. Even if you have little or no awareness of Senate, that is still really important for us to know.

The survey will be open from Thursday 1 April and will be available to complete until Friday 30 April. You can take part using the link below:
