Power outage on campus: University of Nottingham Malaysia

February 12th, 2020

There has been an unexpected power outage today (Wed 12 Feb) on our University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC).

Our team is working with utility company TNB to resolve this as soon as possible.

Gensets and generators are currently being set up to provide power to the campus. Full power will likely be restored gradually by the end of today.

All scheduled classes will be cancelled and re-scheduled for a future date. Students will be informed by their School about any re-scheduled dates and times. All other University activities will carry on as usual unless advised otherwise.

If you are staying on campus and require assistance, please contact your hall tutors.

An email has been sent to all staff on campus with more information about work arrangements.

If you are leaving the campus, please ensure that lights and power sockets are switched off.

Please check the University of Malaysia’s Facebook feed for further updates.
