Getting research data in order for the new academic year

October 4th, 2019

Digital Research and Libraries have a number of resources to help you keep your research planning on track and stay more organised this academic year.

The new Research Data Management (RDM) online course can be taken by students or staff and includes the new University of Nottingham RDM policy, how to write a Data Management Plan and about RDM generally.

In addition, new following tools are available on the Libraries’ website:

  • DMP Online – walks you through the process of creating a data management plan
  • DMP toolbox – developed as a result of pilot workshops held with schools in order to provide the required advice and guidance for researchers to meet the requirements of the new RDM policy

These are aimed at supporting researchers in meeting the requirements of the University RDM policy as well as funder data management plan expectations.

Guidance and support can be found on the Digital Research pages and the new policy in full can be read on the website.
